Tech Review - Vantec Spectrum Mouse Pad
Hello again, my name is Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today, I’m looking at the Vantec Spectrum Mouse Pad.
What is included in this package is the USB power adapter and the mouse pad. When comparing this mouse pad to a traditional style of the mouse pad like this, this one would definitely win. It looks unique. It’s stylish and then it also has ultra bright blue cooled cathode lights and that’s very cool when it’s turn on.
Now, the PVC surface here provides ample space with excellent response and attraction for just about any computer mouse on the market whether it’s the newer optical mice or the older mice with the ball. Right here at the very top is where you plug in this USB power adapter and then plug it into your computer system and at the top is where you’ve got a switch on and off.
At the back of the mouse you can see all those components that required to turn on all these lights inside up here just a kind of a cool little touch and also all these rubber here on the back helps the mouse pad stay on your desks when you’re using it.
The specifications on these product are the outline dimension is 258x230x12 millimeters, the weight is 420 grams, the output voltage is 350, the output current is 1.86 milliamps, the input voltage is 5 volts, the input current is 300 to 500 milliamps, the mouse pad material is PC/ABS and PVC and the USB power adapter cable amp is 147 meters.
Powering up this mouse pad is extremely easy to do. First of all take the USB power adapter plug this end into the top of the mouse pad then plug this end right here into your computer’s USB port and this end goes plug into any USB devices. This is essentially a pass through cable right here. That means of course you won’t be taking up any more than one USB port. Once that connected then go ahead turn the mouse pad on here at the very top and then start enjoying the product.
Now, I’m going to turn out the lights here to give you a better idea on what this looks like. Just to give you some idea of what this looks like well, have a look. It looks quite nice and this is with a lot of lights on. In the night when you have a light’s dim it just will look even better.
Let me go ahead and turn it off and on and you can still see it. The overall design on this is quite nice. Nice style also it does have those blue cooled cattle which gives it a very neat appearance. Overall, this is a great product.
