Hello again, Rodney Reynolds from 3dgameman.com. This next question is about marketing programs, ATI or AMD has one called, get in the game, NVIDIA has one called the way it was meant to be played. Now are these just purely marketing programs designed to trick the consumer into going out and purchasing their hardware, well of course they want you to go ahead and purchase their hardware because it increases their sales, but it is much, much more than that. ATI and NVIDIA port millions of dollars into games, to make sure that those games are very compatible with their hardware. So, when you see a game that’s sponsored by for example NVIDIA doesn’t mean that that game plays best on NVIDIA hardware.
Well, generally speaking, yes. It’s probably going to be more compatible, look better and perform a little bit better than on an ATI or AMD product, but it doesn’t mean that that game can’t be played on an ATI video card. And what happens in most cases is for example a game that’s sponsored by NVIDIA is released, it might be more compatible, perform a little bit better and had better graphics initially until ATI releases a hot fix or a patch or even sometimes the game development company will release patches for that particular game and that will address some of the issues possibly with playing that game on ATI hardware, but that is not always the case. In most cases, most games will work extremely well played on both video cards. So, when you see this logo pop up at the beginning of a game whether it’d be NVIDIA or ATI, don’t be too concerned. I hope this answers your question. Keep your questions coming.
