Hello, again I'm Rodney Reynolds from 3DGameMan.com. This next question is what is the best viewing distance, viewing height, and viewing angle for a large screen TV’s? Well, according to the Canadian Association of Optometrists or the CAO they recommend that you should watch TV in a well lit room. Don’t sit too close and don’t wear sunglasses while watching TV or it could cause eye strain and fatigue.

Also, there is no reason why you can’t watch TV in a dark room. Just remember to decrease the brightness on the TV. They also recommend that you sit back a distance of five times the width of the display so for example if you have a 52-inch display that would mean sitting 20 feet from it. It does seem like a lot but that’s what they recommend.

Now a lot of sites out there would recommend of distance of 2.5 times to three times the width of the screen so that would mean if you have a 52-inch display, sitting back between 10 to 15 feet from the display. The viewing height should be eye level with the middle of screen so the screen should not be high or too low and the viewing angle really should be within 30 degrees.
