Hello again. I'm Rodney Reynolds from 3DGameMan.com. Next off is high end gaming computer system. What computer components go into building a high end gaming computer system?
Well, first of all, it’s going to cost you a lot of money. A high-end gaming computer system is going to cost anywhere from $2000.00 to $3000.00 and that does not include any peripherals. Well, I go through first are all this shared computer components. First off is the case. I go with one of three of these cases either the SilverStone TJ07 or the Antec 1200 or the Cooler Master Cosmos. For power supply I’ll go with the PC power and cooling Turbo cool 1200 watt. For a CPU, I go with the Intel QX96-53 gigahertz. For memory you go with OZC DDR-3 16000 Platinum Edition four gigabyte, for a cooler I go with the Swiftech H2O-120 compact or H2O-20 compact, the only thing that’s between those two water cooling kits is the radiator.
For sound card I go with the creative sound blaster an X by extreme gamer. For a hard drive I would actually go with two hard drives, two Western Digital raptors 300 gigabyte in a ray of zero configuration. These raptors are fast and very, very nice. I would go with a burner at the LG Blu Ray DVD and for an operating system I go with Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
Now you can go within an Nvidia configuration or an ATI. If you go Nvidia, the motherboard that I would choose would be the Asus Striker Two Extreme and for a video card I go with actually two video cards, the EVGA, GTX2 AD and SLI and for the ATI option, the motherboard, I go with the Asus P5E3 premium and for a video card I would go with two HIS 4870 video cards and a Crossfire configuration. I hope this answers your question and keep your questions coming.
