Absolutely, you should always download the latest video card drivers, because it can mean more frames per second, better compatibility, and a ton of other improvements.
Now how do you do this? Well depends on the card you have. If you have an Nvidia product, if you do, go to Nvidia.com, or maybe you have an AMD product, if so go to AMD.com. I wouldn’t recommend going to the video card manufacturer’s website for video card drivers, because in most cases they don’t have the latest video card drivers. So, either go to Nvidia.com, or AMd.com.
Now, before you do anything. You want to create a system restore point in Vista, to do so click on start, all programs, click on system restore. In there, create a restore point. Once you’ve done that you can grab and download the latest video card drivers, but before you install them make sure you uninstall your existing video card drivers. Then reboot the computer system. Once you get back install the latest video card drivers.
