Well, if you don’t know what a LAN party is you are definitely not a gamer. LAN stands for, Local Area Network, and it’s a bunch of computers guru’s and geeks and enthusiasts who love playing games, get together hook their computers up and play a bunch of games, and have a heck of a lot of fun doing so, and they also drink a lot of energy drinks, and junk food. It’s a fun time.
These LAN events are huge, in some cases, sometimes hundreds, into the thousands of computer systems hooked together. All kinds of prized to be won, and sometimes there are many, many professional gamers, at these LAN parties.
So if you don’t know what a LAN party is you should probably get involved with one or host one yourself.
