Hello again, I’m Rodney Reynolds from 3Dgameman.com. The next question is about building a mid-range computer system. So something between budget and high-end, price wise around $1500.00 somewhere between $1000.00 and $2000.00 but by the way that does not include in the peripherals.
What I’ll do first is go through the shared computer components for an AMD and Intel computer system. First of all the case, I recommended getting an Antec 900 Case, I’d go for a power supply with the Corsair TX 6500-watt. For memory, Geil PC2-8500 Evo One 4 gigabyte kit, for our hard drive, the Western Digital, Caviar Black 1 terrabyte. Now we cant get the black version because it’s not readily available, go with the green version. For our burner, I go with the LG 20X DVD writer with LightScribe and for an operating system go with Vista Home Premium 64-Bit.
Now, for the AMD system for our motherboard, I go with the ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe. For our CPU the AMD X4 9850 black edition 2.5 Gigahertz and for our video card, a couple of options you go with the EVGA 9800 GTX 512-megabyte version or the new model that’s a bit more expensive, the EVGA GTX 260. Now, for the Intel rig, for our motherboard I go with the ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe. For the CPU the IntelQ 9450, 2.66 gigahertz and for our video card, a couple of options with this one as well, either the HIS 3870X2 1 gigabyte version. Or you can go with the newer 4850, 512 megabyte version. Now, the 3870X2, 1 gigabyte version is a little more expensive but it is and will perform a little bit faster. I hop this answers your question, keep your questions coming.
