Hello again I'm Rodney Reynolds from 3DGameMan.com, I have a question regarding LCD. What is the best LCD on the market for gaming? Well I don’t know that there is a best LCD at the market for gaming but I can tell you what to look for. And quite frankly a lot of the LCDs at the market these days are more than adequate that will give you fantastic quality.
Now the best deal you are going to find really 22 inches, I would go below at 22 inch LCD. So that is the starting size really, a few things you want to look for like right now you want it to be at least 200 to 300 mid contrast ratio will should be 2, 000 to 1 preferably higher at 3,000 to 1. You want to have a good resolution 1680x1050 and I would prefer myself going higher than that. And in most cases you will have to go to a bigger more expensive display at 24 inch to get a 1920x1200 screen resolution.
And that will give you the ability to have more disk space and the ability to play high definition games and high definition movies. 10apv movies that kind of stuff on your LCD, so if you can afford it, I will go to a more expensive maybe a 24 inch LCD. And also check out and make sure the connection, you have enough connection with your particular set-up.
If all you have is just a computer system, all you need is one TVI connection. You don’t need to have maybe couple of HTMI connections. But I would suggest giving something with possibly one DVI and at least one HTMI. Is that way we are covered, I can tell you what screen currently that I use, it’s the Benq FP241VW, it’s a 24 inch LCD. I hope this helps, keep your questions coming.
