Technology Breaking News: Google Launches Fast Flip
Hi, this is Mike Callahan, That Fella Finder, and welcome to your Butterscotch.com technology breaking news update. Google has announced the release of a news reading service called Fast Flip. Fast Flip is designed to let you read newspaper and magazine content more easily and more quickly online. When you find a story you want, just click on it, you can move forward and backward through the articles by clicking on the arrows. If you click over here in the side, this brings out a window where you can scroll this way to go through articles and find the things that you want to read. Click here, and now that article will be place on the page. At any time, you can click, go back to the front page, you can also click to read the full story. These pages are designed to load quickly, because they’ve had much of the content that causes them to load slowly removed, like advertising. You can see that there are sources, Washington Post, New York Times, Technology Review, there are sections, Politics, Business, World, Sports, and also topics that are currently in the news, like Jay-Z, president Obama, finance computers and so on. So, this is a experiment, there are over three dozen publications currently participating in this Fast Flip project of Google’s. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, it’s also available at both iPhone and Android mobile devices. And this been your Butterscotch.com technology breaking news.
