Tennie Elbow Treatment

Ned Amendola: Well Alex, tennis elbow is common in tennis players but also in everyday use, where there's an inflammation of the muscles going down your forearm. So these muscles originate at this point, bowling point right here in your elbow, come down in the forearm and allow that type of motion. So that's usually what creates pain in tennis elbow.

So I find the best way to treat that and reduce the stress on the point of the pain is to use a tennis elbow-strap and this is a Velcro-type strap and you'll apply that around the forearm, just a little bit further down from the point that sores. So you put the strap on, tighten it up, and that reduces the amount of stress going through this point and will eventually reduce the pain from the tennis elbow.
