Testicular Cancer Concerns

Tim: Hey! I am Tim from Howell. And you know, lately, I have seen a lot on the news about testicular cancer, especially in younger men. I am really curious. Is there anyway I can do a self-examination?

Christopher Saigal: Tim, that's an important question, and yes, you can. You should do it in the shower, when your scrotum is more relaxed, because the water is warm, and just rub your fingers over each testicle. If you feel a hard area, like an area in the back of your knuckle, that's suspicious, and you should show it to your physician.

Luckily, most lumps and bumps in the scrotum are not cancer, but only a doctor knows for sure.
