The Audi CLS - The Sportback Concept

Hi! I am Angus Mackenzie editor in chief of Motor Trend, and I am here, on the Audi standard the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. Behind me is Audi's concept car, called the Sportback. It's the preview of an old new production model that will be called the A7. And it looks like a Ford or Coupe very much in the model of the Mercedes CLS. But this car will be a hatch back, which gives greater versatility and practicality.

More interesting though, is what the design language says, for future Audi's. The sharp eye, observers will notice the grill shape has been changed, there's a much stiffer bone line along the side of the car and the rear entry is quite good. You'll see some of these themes picked up. Not only in the production A7, but also in the next generation A8.
