It is an antiquated scale that uses to compare your body height and your body weight, but what it do not take into consideration is your muscularity, what kind of condition you are in? It does not take any consideration how much is your muscle weight. So if you use this to determine whether you are out of shape or you need to lose weight is going to make you very depressed for example, I plug my self in to body mass index calculator and came up with 32. Now the number 30 indicates that you are obis. Now I plug in six with two, 235 pounds a typical NFL quarter back.
I also got the number 30 which indicates that somebody that size would be obis, so if you use the scale is going to mislead and make you very upset, what should be use? You should use your bathroom scale, your bathroom mirror, how low your clothes fit? old pictures and when your spouse can still hug you and touch there hand behind you, maybe not that one but use those indicators to determine whether you need to lose weight or not and forget the BMI scale, thanks for watching.
