Whether you're unable to breastfeed or you're supplementing with infant formula, many formulas imitate the benefits of breastfeeding in order to optimize your baby's growth and development. There are also many other reasons, why women choose to bottlefeed.
For one, Bottlefeeding gets the fathers involved and the feeding responsibilities are able to be shared. Also, there is more freedom. Many women feel that they're not so tied down to their baby's at all times. Traveling, working and even sleeping are more easily done.
Also, some women have said, their breastfeeding can interfere with their sex lives. Many couples say that leaky breasts can be a turnoff during sex. While women bottlefeed, they also have more freedom in the types of foods that they can eat.
Whether you choose to bottlefeed or breastfeed, what's really important is what is best for your baby. So talk to your doctor about the benefits to both to help make the best decision for you and your child.
