Her smile maybe the most famous on earth, but Mona Lisa’s closed mouth rim does little to reveal what she may have been thinking or what lies behind her lips. Today there is a less mystery to a dazzling and healthy smile and what we need to do to get one?
Female Speaker: It’s time to brush your teeth sweetie. You need to brush them all.
Toothbrushing is one of the first task children learn.

Male Speaker: They are testing a vaccine they say can stop it.
Marty Taubman: This would be a very effective means of combining this really painful and costly infectious disease in populations worldwide.
Dan Smith: There seem to be fewer number of some of these bacteria.
Male Speaker: The vaccine would not replace brushing and trips to the dentist but can give kids better protection. Ironically the way we brush our teeth may lead to problems as we get older.

Male Speaker: Howard Joiner was surprised to find out his gums had receded so far obnoxious for him that his upper part of his teeth were exposed.
Howard Joiner: I just had a way to get it all.
Male Speaker: Typically a filling material is used to cover the exposed areas and holes are drilled to hold the material in place. But Howard underwent a new procedure, where the tooth is primed, instead of drilled and then an adhesive is applied. It’s cured with a high intensity blue light, the filling material is then applied.
Andre Ritter: By being able to bond of alliteration or feeling in the tooth without any type of drilling we will be conserving the tooth structure.
Male Speaker: The area which is once exposed is now protected from decaying. Cosmetics drove Adrian DeStefano to seek treatment, a treatment once reserved for kids.

Dan Delrose: It’s amazing how this computer technology can take a simple impression and generate where your smile is going to be six months down the line. You can watch how this tooth is pulled down.
Male Speaker: The computer shows movement of the teeth in two week’s segments, manufacturer uses these models to create a series of clear trays that patient wears at two week intervals.
Jennifer Salzer: The patient wears each aligners and slowly the teeth are moved into the position to the final position.
Male Speaker: Patients remove their braces when they eat.
