There are several benefits of playing other sports outside of lacrosse.

First and foremost is that its fun. It's great to get a new set of teammates and a new set of coaches each season and develop relationships with them, work together to achieve common goals.

Second benefit of playing multiple sports is that you can use other sports to help increase your fitness and your preparedness for your main season, is being lacrosse. For example, running cross country, during the fall and indoor track in the winter, might increase your speed and your fitness before you get to the lacrosse field in the spring.
