The Benefits of an Alternative Therapy

Try an alternative therapy. Some people swear by these alternative therapists, well why not try one and see what it does for you? I had to go at reflexology to cure my hay fever, I didn’t stick long enough to know. Aroma therapy, to help me get a better night sleep, brilliant, and just a few months ago, I tried hypnotherapy with a hypnotist who specialized in weight loss. Rather than going under and be mesmerized, I thought it was more like sessions of reaffirmation of all the sensible advice I had learned and reminders of what I wanted like visualization. I was very impressed. At any rate, it was a positive and imaginative thing to be doing for me. There are a zillion weight loss alternatives out there and I'm not encouraging you to fritter away your money on nonsensical ideas. But try out something instead of talking about it. It may give you a whole new perspective. I have a friend who just tried colonic irrigation for weight loss and she can't stop infusing about it.

There are also therapies which aim to change the way you think about your food and yourself. The most popular of these are neuro-linguistic programming and CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy. They may be worth a try.
