Welcome to body performance, I am Steve Turano. Today I like to tell you about most effective aerobic cardiovascular exercise for burning fat. Now, it would be exercises to be effective at burning fat using calories must have two criteria.
Number one, you have to do for 20 minutes uninterrupted that is mean you cannot stops, start, stop and start. The other is that it must incorporating the lower half of the body. Obviously, the legs, meaning the quads, the hamstrings, the glutes, the hips, and the cabs. Because these are large muscle and they consume lots of calories.
Now, best aerobic activity I like is cross country skiing but if you are like me I am from Florida, you cannot do it very well. But cross country skiing is great because it used the arms and all of the legs. Second best activity it would be walking, jogging, and running a combination those three. Because incorporates the legs and uses to them completely. And also incorporates the upper body, if you cannot run a combination of walking and jogging. Because again you can do it for 20 or 30 minutes you do not need the class; you do not need any lessons and have you do it.
Some exercise activities are surprisingly not very aerobic, or some of the sports basketball, rocket ball. These are good if they did it uninterrupted but unfortunately is too much stopping and starting, too much standing around.
Swimming is not good; even you did it for a long period of time as it does not really incorporate lower half of the body used primarily your shoulders and in your arms. Even aerobics is not very good consuming calories and here is why? These are lots of punching and moving of the upper body, but does are small muscle, they do not burn much of calories.
There is lots of static or stepping out on block which is good but still does not incorporate the hamstrings and the quads and the glutes completely. So, your are not burning lots of calories. Anytime I see anybody in the gym and they really want lose fat, they get out on the aerobics room and they open the thread mill and they run their job.
Biking is good; but biking is kind of easy so you going to do it for a longer period of time. And what we are looking at is 20 or 30 minutes getting the best of bangs for our body. So again, the best aerobic or cardiovascular activity that I like and that is what I do is the combination of walking, jogging and running it is easy and incorporates the big muscles and it consumes of lots of calories.
Once you achieve do your cardiovascular activity, do a little bit weight lifting, and be patients. I will see you next time. Love your body.
