Male: What are the symptoms of exercise-induced asthma that people say that maybe I have it? Michael Marcus: The most common symptom patients complain about is that they either have tightness or a squeezing feeling in their chest with exercise. Some just feel out of breathe, some patient start to cough, those are the symptoms we see most commonly. Some patients actually say they feel or hear a wheezing sound and patients certainly have more rapid breathing and a harder time catching their breathe after the exercise period. These are the common symptoms that we see.
