Vehicle Safety Before I show you how to inspect tires, brakes and suspension we have a safety demonstration. Now you might find this graphic, so we have added some humor, just to lighten it up. We're here with Dim Tim and we're going to show you the dangers of inspecting an unsecured vehicle. Always put the emergency brake on, put it in park if it's automatic, or leave it in gear if it's a manual transmission. Dim Tim has decided to look underneath this vehicle, but he forgot to put the emergency brake on. Little does he know that this driveway has a slight slope and gravity will take its toll. Don't try this at home. [video playing 0:42-0:49] Wow! That looks really painful. I'm glad it wasn't a real person, otherwise we would have an ambulance on the way. Please be careful when inspecting any vehicle.
