The Dark Knight: Batmobile Game iPhone App Review
This review of the Dark Knight Batmobile Game is brought you buy AppVee.com. There’ve been a lot of subpart games out for the iPhone and iPod touch but most of them don’t get you excited before you find out they’re actually off titles. The Dark Knight Batmobile game is one of the few that actually do. It’s hard to even call this a game really. It’s more of what you to expect out of a graphic test when you get a new video card except they were nice enough to let you loosely interact with the world.
In this game, what you do is basically watch the Batmobile on all of its glory and occasionally tap the screen or rotate your device when it tells you to. The game is set around the course and the objective is to complete the course in the fastest amount of time by getting a perfect on every touch or tilt section of the level. You’ll get to ignite the engine by shaking your device, once into a turbo boost by tapping on the jet engine, tilt your phone so the Batmobile gets a safe landing and tap on the red circle to shoot your portable wall so you can jump from building to building. After your third run through you probably get a perfect score. After that there’s no reason to ever play this game again.
Video games made from movies never end up perfectly but the box that is made its way to the iPhone and iPod touch for the Dark Knight have been pretty awful. Hopefully in the future we’ll see better Batman titles but as of right now this is another app to avoid unless you’re really bored and want to watch the same chase scene over and over.
