Everyone this is a tutorial for the card trick Delirium. First I would like to apologize for the crappy webcam, I broke my other one.
Alright, for Delirium, we are going to need four 2’s, Queen of hearts, a duplicate Queen of hearts, and a duplicate 2 of hearts.
Position so, the two duplicates are on the bottom. Queen very bottom then the 2 hearts, and the 2’s and the other three of them—position Queen, 2, 2, 2, it does not matter, then the 2 of hearts at the very top. First thing you want to do for this trick is pull off the four 2’s and flipped them over while you were doing this try to acquire a break with the Queen.
Now, next thing we are going to do is just draw off the top three cards. Now what we are going to do here is when we go over to grab the last 2, put our fingers underneath the brake and pull off the Queen with it. Lay these cards down very slowly as you do not reveal the fifth card.
Next thing we are going to do is buckle the bottom two cards. Buckling is just sort of pulling them across like that; I will show you to get a better view, so pull them across to acquire a break like that. Then what we want to do is once you have that break, transfer it over to your thumb. So now you are holding the break with your thumb, crack the deck like that, and drop the two cards at the front. Put it that there, spin it, tip at it, and flip it up. Now you are showing them the Queen of hearts which has the 2 of hearts underneath.
Take that flip it back over, draw the top card which they think is the Queen of hearts but it was actually the 2 of hearts. Put on the ground—you are done with the deck, you can put it aside. Carefully pick up your 2’s so as not to reveal the Queen on the bottom. So, pull it like there and show the cards like that so, I am showing all four.
What we are going to do now is take the 2 of hearts, be careful not to reveal the Queen and put it second from the bottom, closing all the deck except it. Put it like that now. And so we will mention then, “2 of hearts are the same too as the Queen of hearts, is not that weird?
Close the deck. Now, this was called, I am pretty sure, loophole spread. I am not 100% accurate on it. So, if I am wrong just say so or something. What we do is gripping pretty tightly like this. Draw of the top card and pull it down like that. Now, with these fingers, grab this one, pull across, next one, pull across.
Now, looks like you have four cards, our 2 is underneath there but what they see is that. We say, “Wow! One of the cards has flipped over,” which one could it be? Well, here is the diamonds, here is the clubs, here is the spades, it must be the 2 of hearts, “But wait, it is the Queen of hearts!” that must mean the 2 of hearts is down there and that is Delirium.
What is especially nice for this trick is that it is extremely to set up again. All you are going to do is, sort or flip the Queen back over, put the 2 back there, and “Boom!” You are ready to go again. Hope you enjoy it.
