The Festa Cocktail Recipe

The Festa Cocktail – a delightfully refreshing Cachaca base drink. Welcome to the Cocktail Spirit from Small Screen Network, I’m your host Robert Hess. Now when the weather starts getting warm, we think about having more bright and lively cocktails. So I created the Festa Cocktail using cachaca, in this case we’re going to use Boca Loca Cachaca. Starting out with two ounces, then we add ½ ounce of fresh squeezed lime juice, ½ ounce of raspberry syrup. Now what I’m just using as standard raspberry syrup used for coffee drinks stuff like that so any place to the selling coffee syrups should have, some raspberry syrup; ½ ounce of Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, this is a new product on the market. It’s got slight ginger warmth to it, that I think works really well in this drink. And then a couple dashes of Angostura bitters, we get our ice, shake it up. Now take our rocks glass and fill this with ice, strain in to that and then just add a touch of soda on top. And there we have the Festa Cocktail.
