The Garlic Grater - Product Review

Hi! How are you doing? It’s cooking with Jack and I'm Jack Scalfani. Today, we’re going to a product review. It’s called the Garlic Grater and I’ve always had problems peeling garlic and grating it up and slicing it thin that I just went to the jar that has all the liquid in it and you scoop out the garlic. Well, I found a new product called the garlic grater and it’s really amazing, the demonstration I saw was amazing. We’re going to try it out right now, let’s take a look at it. Alright, here’s what it consist of. You have the garlic grater, has a rough surface on it, you have this rubber tube and a little tiny brush. And the first thing we’re going to do is move the plate all the way with the little grater. You have to get the skin off first and most people think that the knife is going to smash down and then peel the skin off, that’s the a pretty popular way. But what we’re going to do is we’re going to place it right in here and this is how they showed me how to do it. I've never done before so wish me luck and we’re going to roll back and forth just like that and then it supposed to—wow! Look at that. That’s pretty cool, alright. Now, check this out. We’re going to get rid of that. Now, we have a peeled of piece of garlic, here we go. Now, you take the garlic grater and you just gently circle this around and that’s why this was supposed to be—circle it around and it’s really—you see it’s starting to coat it. Look at that, wow, that’s so easy. It’s a piece of cake. Look, I got almost half of the thing, look at that. That’s absolutely amazing. Oh my goodness. You can smell the garlic on that. Now, now it done most of the piece of the garlic and here’s the clue with the brush. You have to deep this with some water first so I'm going to deep in a little water over here and when you’re ready to take the garlic out after you’ve done all grating process, look at how beautiful that is, look at that. Well, that’s amazing. Look at this, now you want to put that Spaghetti sauce? That’s better than slicing it as thin as possible, that is just beautiful. Look at that. It’s absolutely smooth and soft. And it did it right on this dish with absolutely no effort in this whole set. I think it cost but like 25 bucks or something like that. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s called the garlic grater and it’s just unbelievable, that’s beautiful. It is so smooth. I've never been able to get. It smells great! Okay, not only this is good for garlic but you can use lemons, that thing, you can use a ginger root which is really hard and it works wonders on it. I saw him demonstrate that and you can use it for even grating a hard cheese. It’s absolutely beautiful.
