However, soon after it is creation, the super computer became self aware in putting place a mission to its germinate humans. First, launching a nuclear attack, Skynet was capable of destroying much of the human population. A program of genocide was then put in place to each to terminate the remaining humans. A survivor of the nuclear attack, John Connor assembled tetcom better known simply as the resistance, as a movement to prevent Skynet’s plan of eradication of human kind. After failing to kill Connor in battle and seeing their cost on the verge of defeat in the year 2029. As a last resort, Skynet sent a cyborg assassin called a terminator back in time to 1984.
“That terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with, it can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity or remorse or fear and it absolutely will not stop ever until you are dead!”
The terminator was under the orders to kill John Connor’s mother Sarah Connor before he was even born ultimately defeating the resistance before it could even be assembled. Resembling and sounding like a human, the terminator was so well engineered, it could even sweat and bleed making it indistinguishable from other humans. Despite its human characteristics, the terminator was nearly indestructible especially to 20th century weapons. A network of hydraulic several mechanisms controlled its endoskeleton making the terminator super humanly strong. After learning of the terminators mission, John Connor and the resistance center own soldier Kyle Reese back in time in order to protect Sarah Connor and ultimately the resistance. Finding her first Reese warned Connor about the terminator’s plan as well as the importance of her and her unborn son to the future of humanity.
“But there was one man who taught us to fight. He brought us back from the brink. His name is Connor, John Connor your son Sarah.”
Falling for each other, Reece and Connor would spend a night together in a motel and it is soon after discovered that it is here where John Connor was conceived. In battle, fire would strip away the terminators human appearance living only is powerful endoskeleton. In an attempt to destroy the cyborg, Reese sacrifices himself by blowing a pipe bomb in the abdomen of the cyborg. However, still functioning, it is ultimately Sarah Connor who defeats the terminator by crashing it in a hydraulic press.
