The Importance of Audio Quality
On behalf of TVlesson.com, my name is Eric Roman otherwise known as DJ Empire.
Let’s talk about a little bit audio quality and how it applies to nightclubs, parties and DJs. Audio quality is very important. You can have in amazing song that’s the number one record on the radio but if it sounds terrible where your mid’s and high, your trebles, your snares, your symbols are too crisp and might cause angry in the dance floor from your patrons by hurting their ears, making uncomfortable for them to have conversation in the event that you’re DJ. Also, there is too much bass, too much drum line it might also causes same conflict. So it’s important that when you go out looking for your music, you’d be sure just trying to get the highest quality audio.
If it’s through the computer, you want to go for the highest bit rate which is the processing speed of the music and where it’s been compressed. If it’s to highly compressed, you end up getting digital noise or loud hiss in the background and it is important to avoid that. Because most sound systems amplify those sounds creating problems with both your mixing where the following song might be higher quality than other and you won’t have a smooth transition between songs. Also, if you go to your record shops, you want to look for the highest quality audio pressings on final, on CD, whatever it might be, whatever media you’re using.
There are many forms of audio and you want to stay on top of how will it’s been recorded. You do not want angry your clients. You do not want angry your clientele in the night club. You want to make it fashionable time when they can come and enjoy good songs with good audio quality where it’s not painful to them or your reputation because if you use start becoming known as a DJ that has great music but sounds terrible, you’ll have trouble finding work. Because you could damage sound systems, turn away crowds it’s such broad, broad thing that so many DJs over look because it’s very important that you keep your clientele happy, especially with your audio quality.
