Audra: With a long exhausting day who doesn’t look forward in a curling up into their warm, cozy bed. I know I do. Well, one of the nations most sought after designers Jennifer Adams recently stopped by Better to show us how we can all have the best night sleep and the sweetest dreams of our lives and today’s Between the Sheets.
It’s so important not only to make your bed up and we’re not just talking because it’s your manners make your bed up and also the kind of sheets that you’re sleeping. All right Jenny it’s important.
Jennifer: It’s so important for one thing just making your bed everyday is a way to sleep better because psychologically it feels good. You have something check off your list. First thing in the morning you’ve made your bed and then when you get into your bed at night time it just feels better when your sheets are crisp and not a mess.
Audra: The real importance of sleep. We cannot overlook this. It’s not just saying, “Everybody miss and get a few hours of sleep. There’s real benefit from them, right?
Jennifer: There are. It’s essential to lives of every single person on your family for productivity, for life, for health. You lose weight if you sleep better. So I made up live sort of to research the best experience for people in our homes and in resorts and things go all across the board. So we come with the fabric that we think is the most luxuriously soft bed sheet that’s you’ve ever experienced.
Audra: These are Jen’s sheets. Now, at a first glance you’re thinking. Sheets looked like sheets, right? Why can’t I use the same things that I have on and all my mattress at home. I can sleep the same way not now. You pick these sheets up and someone, our producer called the battery because all of you guys can’t feel them. I have never felt anything as soft as this before. This is unreal and the way to describe it as if you go to a spa, you know when you’re laying down at a spa these are the kind of sheets that are better than the sheets that they have in there. It’s just ridiculous how soft these are.
Jennifer: Thank you for saying that. That’s exactly how I feel.
Audra: No, no it’s a lie.
Jennifer: This is exactly how I feel.
Audra: Why are they so different tell them what we’re buying in the stores?
Jennifer: They’re made of the micro fiber, an eco-friendly product and its just the way it’s been milled is so exclusively soft. I’ve research so many different fabrics out there from so many different manufacturers, from so many different mills. I’ve torn apart every resort bed that I can possibly think of to find the best sheet. And this is a fabric that is actually made with the spa in mind because it has been extremely soft. It’s got to be linter to oils plus the eco-friendly aspect. If you can do one thing in your day to be good to the environment why not have your sheet be eco-friendly as long as they’re soft and these are more soft and I think either about.
Audra: To keep your sheets off because you wash your sheets they get-they changed in consistency. These sheets you have a great tip not only for your house but also if you have other sheets to in washing.
Jennifer: No matter what sheets that you’re sleeping on. Don’t wash them with your towels or any other fabric because other fabrics will get on to your sheets and now peel. Now, a low grade cotton will peel on its own. On these micro fibers, they should not peel and affect their guaranteed for two years against the peeling but sometimes you get those little cotton fibers that will make your sheets feel rough and it’s actually another fabric attaching to your sheet. So, be careful how you wash them and also watch for the washing instructions.
Audra: Yeah, just pay in to close attention to the instructions. That’s the reason why they’re on there.
Jennifer: Some sheets are supposed to dry clean. Ours are not that case but you do want to pay attention on washing instructions. Ours are fairly easy just put them in to a permanent press cycle and dry them on low heat.
Audra: Now you can’t buy this in the retail stores just yet. But on your website to window, the website was almost crash as so many people going to the website to buy them. If quite a few of our viewers want a set of sheets as well too.
