The Importance of Budget When Planning Family Trips

Why is budget so important when planning a summer vacation? Budget is important because it sort of determines your destination. If you have a $3,000 budget for a family of three, you’re not going to be able to go skiing in New Zealand over the summer but you would be able to get a really great family vacation to the Caribbean. So your budget is really going to help determine your destination. It’s also important to because you don’t want to break the bank. You don’t want to spend so much money to get to a destination that you don’t have anything left to enjoy the destination once you’re there. So we highly recommend setting a budget even before you begin planning and sort of letting that dictate and then selecting destinations.
