Robert Silverstone: I think one of the most important things in the setting of a business owner the CEO. I had this two things, one is the ability to be confident that is to say just being in that state of confidence without being arrogant it just comfortable confident and the second one is to be present and being present is I think probably one of the most powerful states of being that we can never exhibits.
That is to say I am totally here right now, I am not somewhere in the past, I am not somewhere in the future, I am right here right now. So, confidence and presents will be I think two of the most powerful states for business want to be. In my first experience I remember one time that I was in a meeting in New York this was a meeting of the Executive Board of the company.
The conversation was largely around what went wrong over the last three months that lead to a current situation. I explored what went wrong what came out of it, was lot of blaming, a lot of criticisms, a lot of judgment it did not really accomplished very much. And when the conversation came around to okay well let us accept the fact that the things not the way right now that would like them to be.
How would we like them to be? In the moment we shifted for what was in the past to what is right now it changes the whole meaning of the conversation and now we are able to look at more objectively what it is we want to do accomplish and an approach to accomplishment and we could done that if we did not find the point to get present.
