Rebecca Brayton: Sexy, sporty and fun are not necessarily the typical words you used to describe a Jaguar until now.
Hi! I am Rebecca Breton and welcome to watchmojo.com. And today we will learning more about the luxury Jaguar brand and their model the XKR. Why don't you tell us a bit more about the car that we are standing in front of. This is our new XKR Couple. It has the new engine in it, the new 5.0 liter engine. It's 510 horsepower.
Rebecca Brayton: When the designers were designing this car what were they focusing on?
Gary Moyer: They were focusing on a car that would be a grand tour and a sports car at the same time. So the car is very versatile. It can be used as an everyday car. The suspension is very easy when you are driving day to day, or you can drive it hard. It has a racing heart and the soul of a sports car, but yet good for everyday.
Rebecca Brayton: How would you say this car is unique in terms of design or performance?
Gary Moyer: It is the fine blend of sporting and technology. It's quite sexy, very attractive car and it's an eye-turner. I had a good fortune of driving these cars a little time. Everyone looks at the car. They are really exciting.
Rebecca Brayton: How does this car fit into the Jaguar line?
Gary Moyer: This car right here is the flagship car for the Jaguar line. So what you see is most cars all fall into place: XK, XF, XJ. For a two-seater, it's a good lead car for Jaguar.
Rebecca Brayton: Are there any specific features that you would like to tell us more about?
Gary Moyer: It has a new six speed automatic transmission. It has a new electronic differential which makes the car more agile. It holds the body stable in curves, that kind of thing. And it also has the XF Jaguar Drive Selector. We launched the XF last year and it really sets the tone for the interior of the car and works really well.
