There is nothing more luxurious in soft weather, if you like it here why you don’t try on your
walls? The look of weather is great for walls and you don’t need a lot of fancy brushes. I actually
use plastic grocery bags but there is a trick. You’ve really have to control the amount of paint
that you put on to your trash bags otherwise it will get all dirty. Materials for this technique are
nice and simple, a paint tray, leather colored latex paint mix with the one part water and one part
latex base, a foam ruler, a china bristle brush and several plastic bags. One of my favorite things
about this treatment is that I get to use up all my plastic shopping bags. Now I’ve already put
basecoat at this wall with the fantastic brown color and it allow it to dry completely. And the
darker brown I’m rolling paint onto the scrunch up plastic bag and dubbing it likely on the wall.
Remember as paint dries, it dries a lot darker by moving the bag or random your hands you can
avoid repeated patterns.
One thing you’ve really want to keep in mind with this texture is not to apply too much pressure
otherwise you are going to get no texture at all. The idea is to keep the contrast between the two
colors so doesn’t over work it? This finish and looks beautiful as is but I love to add a tinted
glaze coat it’s going to bring this two colors together and it adds a luster. This mocha color glaze
will enhance the leather look them after, if you’ve notice any dark edges from the foam ruler use
the chase cloth to smooth them out. Now, we have a wall that looks like a million bucks. The
next time they ask you if you want paper or plastic you know what to say.
