Raena Morgan: We’re speaking with Bjorn Rene. He’s been in the field of omega 3s for
30 years. I would like to ask how you distill—the molecular distillation of
the cod liver oil and some of the benefits of taking it.
Bjorn Rene: You know we have—you know that the liver is the waste organ for the
cod. So cod liver oil can contain contaminants. So it’s really important to
remove the contaminants and we have a unique process where we can
remove the contaminant from the liver and at the same time, we can keep
the natural vitamin A and D there. So you have an oil—pristine cod liver
oil—free of contaminants with a still natural vitamin A and D. This is
versus the regular cod liver oil you find in the market which has been
spiked with synthetic vitamin A and D after you have removed all of the
contaminants. This is the big difference between the pristine and the
regular type of cod liver oil.
Raena Morgan: And how would the consumer know?
Bjorn Rene: Well, they can trust—if the sources you delivered and the process of the
supplier. That’s the only way he can trust you.
Raena Morgan: So, you need to do a little research.
Bjorn Rene: You need to do research to find a supplier who is capable of doing this
process steps.
Raena Morgan: And you get the omega 3s from the cod liver oil.
Bjorn Rene: Oh, yes. As we say, cod liver oil contains around 2 to 250 milligrams EPA
and DHA per gram.
Raena Morgan: Oh, very good. So, the extra perk is that you get the A and the D?
Bjorn Rene: That is a good thing, yes.
Raena Morgan: Okay, well, thank you, Bjorn.
Bjorn Rene: You’re welcome.
