Rebecca Brayton: This car is every little boy's dream. Hi! I am Rebecca Brayton and today we will be taking a look at some of the unusual features on the Mercedes SL. So this is a very sexy convertible why don't you tell us more.
Steven Kastner: What you are looking at here for 2009 is the Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG IWC edition. The IWC edition is the watch company that has done a joint partnership with us, we supply the vehicle they supply the watch. So limited car only 200 units in the world.
Rebecca Brayton: Why don't you tell us about view of the unique features?
Steven Kastner: The main thing is the exterior color done by AMG this whole car is built by Mercedes Benz, AMG engine 6.3 liters, the paint is the designio cashmere mat metallic paint. So you don't see the normal high gloss luster you would see on most vehicles this has the newly designed head rest with the aeroscar feature so you can have some warm air blowing on your neck, flat bottom steering wheel makes it easy to maneuver the vehicle and get in and out of the car as well.
Rebecca Brayton: This is not your average Mercedes insignia.
Steven Kastner: You are right if you look at the star, it actually is sonar, it's the Distronic Plus feature of the vehicle. You set the cruise control and it will monitor how close it gets to the front vehicle and it will automatically sense this and back the car off, so it keeps the safe distance from the next vehicle.
Rebecca Brayton: Can you tell us a little bit more about AMG.
Steven Kastner: AMG was formed by two men back in the 17 who decided to campaign the cars with 300 SEL 6.9, they were so successful that Mercedes Benz eventually made a deal with them and took it over and AMG assist on fire now.
