The Mighty Menswear Look

You may think that this trend is last season but men’s wear plays a very large role in fall 2009. The good news is the designers have done really cool new and unique things to evolve this trend and I’m going to show you the perfect way to update these pieces to really fit into your fall wardrobe.

One of the key trend pieces for fall 2009 is the boyfriend blazer. This great structured piece can be updated for this season in several key ways, the key layering piece for this jacket, and start with a white tee.

You want to go with the longer white tee similar to this or one like mine. That actually plays up the men’s wear silhouette. You want to make sure that it’s at least as long, not a little longer than the blazer.

Then to make it feminine in all your own, pair it with a really sexy pair of leggings. Something a little more seduced for day or something a little spicier for night like this great pair of metallic leggings. Put it all together with a great pair of booties or an over the knee boot and you have a great man’s wear, you’re feminine look for fall 2009.
