The New BMW Voice Control System

The new BMW Voice Control system is an integrated world-wide unique system in production house. The new system will be available in all production lines of BMW and it will be available at Autumn 2009. The new system has two new features; One-Shot Destination Entry and the Music Search. So it has possibility as driver to give the new address in one utterance. For example, Munich patrolling 170 or you can search for your favorite music like artist or title by voice. The new BMW voice control system is a multi-modal system, so user can switch Fe dialog step to iDrive or back to speech. What's the voice control system of BMW is that user has a possibility to find its own way choosing menu structure. So he can create his own head-on to control the system. Was a new features; One-Shot Destination Entry and Music Search, BMW sets a new benchmark in its automotive user interface.
