The Old Holy Grail Myth

The legend of the quest for the Holy Grail is one of the best known myths of Western culture and spirituality. The grail satisfied the mystical needs of medieval man which she was not just sufficiently experience through the official religious teaching.

So people searching for the grail a book of an unknown British pilgrim was a great significance. The book described where and how to search for the grail. However, shortly thereafter the pilgrim mysteriously lost the book. Those who search for the grail in the following centuries would equate finding the two rings lost book with finding the grail itself.

For medieval people it was easier to dwell with their thoughts on earth and so the grail epic became a myth with many more or less clear interpretations. Many of the legends pointed out that when the grails moving away from people this symbolically represented the lost of the golden times and the fact that the spiritual priority no longer existed in man lacking his original innocence in purity.

The legend prophesied that one day the bond between man and the grail will be renewed. First however the day must come when mankind will liberate itself from the imprisonment of darkness. The German writer Oskar Ernst Bernhardt writing under the name Abd-ru-shin deal to the subject matter of the grail as no other life to be for him.
