well i have been on birth control pills for 3 weeks now and i can tell that i am gaining weight and all i want to do is eat. iam going to try something else the shot makes you gain weight to.

Now I am worried that I will gain weight if I start taking them. Do people gain when they use birth control pills? Susan Ernst: Elizabeth this is a common misconception that many patients have about beginning berth control pills. They have heard from their friends that they gain weight when they were on the birth control pills, but medical studies have been done and have shown that there is no increased incidence of weight gain for young healthy women beginning of birth control pills. So it shouldn't be a concern for you.
