Nina: Okay now we are talking about something totally different. Jiggly wiggly bellies. So this question is from Leise (ph) and she wants to know when does your tummy skin tighten up again.
Now it all depends on the elasticity of your skin and my gynecologist my OB, he told me the same thing. If he had a dollar for every time a woman asked him that question, he would be a millionaire by now because he was – he delivered me and he is wise man and the number one question after people have babies is what am I am going to do with all the jiggly wiggly stuff. So he let's what she says.
She says I am wondering when your tummy skin will tighten up again. I gained 35 pounds, which is normal during pregnancy and have about 12 more to go, but the skin is still seem stretched and jiggly.
Kendall: But when did she have the baby?
Nina: She doesn't say.
Kendall: If it was last week, you have a way to go.
Nina: Okay, I think it gross when I am showering and I am soaping up and I am rub against my belly, the skin goes with me. I don't get overly huge and I know I won't stay like that and no get no stretch marks. Good for her. But I don't like the jello jiggler effect.
Okay, you know what my husband did for me? He got me one of these chairs down stairs in basement that you lie down and it works the – it does the crunch and it works the abdominals and as soon it get clearance, the doctor would start doing and loses about six weeks after you have your baby. You can start doing this exercise and do as many crunched as you can a day and that works wonder.
Kendall: you can also have a baby and I don't really recommend that but if you – your stomach will go right back.
Nina: Okay, that's not a good piece of advice --
Kendall: Okay that was a joke --
Nina: Yeah it goes back eventually, -- it can happen in six weeks. Some people are faster than other and it all depends on your body, on your skin. And that's what he said to me. Some people skin are so elasticized that when they have a lot of babies, one after the other, the skin stretches, it doesn't get that bounce back. It's like an elastic band that you wear out in an underwear, let's say and it doesn't go back. It's ruined.
Kendall: But you have to work at it.
Nina: You got to work at it.
Kendall: But first you take care of having the baby, feeding the baby, getting generally healthy and then you will get down to the skin unless you plan to be working around --
Nina: It has no stretch marks so it will happen in time --
Kendall: And stop looking yourself at the shower.
Nina: But it takes time, everyone, it takes a different amount of time for every person. No too holding clocks – why not beautiful handsome man, wonderful guy, great doctor. Okay so go on. What you have got there?
Kendall: Alright, Conney (ph), she answers it. It takes a bit the things. I work out four/five days a week and my stomach was just about back to normal in the fifth month of post pregnancy. Conney, I want to know how old you are. See age has something to do with this too. Seriously, are you 20? Or are you 30? Or are you 40? I need to know.
Nina: But I see movie stars who have babies and it amazing, if they don't have stretch marks, no but I am talking about age. If you are talking about age and the 39 have babies, Mariska Hargitay had a baby and she is amazingly trim and tight and everything is wonderful. It all depends. I know age is a factor but it depends on your body and on your genetic --
Kendall: Then it depends on your bank book because they can also take the best of everything. They can run right in and get all that piece cut off, zipped up and then come to the academy awards.
Nina: That's true. Little lipo or little whatever they have got to do there --
Kendall: And I don't recommend those things either. Patience grasshopper, patience grasshopper.
Nina: Grasshopper, who is that? Okay we will be right back.
Kendall: That's what the gurus used to say during Buddhist monks, patience grasshopper.
