Kendall: Alright! We're back and we're talking about Strange Symptoms of Pregnancy, and I must say, now we seem to having looked ahead a little bit, notice that we have a real dermatological thing happening here.
Nina: It's the itching.
Kendall: Cracking skin, Nicky had cracking and peeling skin around her cuticles. Itchiness, I have eczema.
Nina: Oh man! It's itching.
Kendall: It can wake you up in the middle of the night.
Nina: That has got to be the worst thing, the itching, all over your body.
Kendall: Because it takes over your life, you can't do anything without going I'm itchy, I'm really itchy.
Nina: I think just basically everything goes wackle when you're pregnant, everything and anything.
Kendall: Bleeding gums.
Nina: Well, I had -- you know what I had. I had something very strange. I couldn't breathe. I got -- did you get that? I got congested and then I got hooked on to Dristan. Don't do that people, very bad thing because what happens is when you start with the Dristan and you start to spray the nostrils, you're congested.
Kendall: You've only got to do it three days in a row.
Nina: You can only do it, but I didn't read this fine print. So, I used it.
Kendall: Three days.
Nina: And then what it causes you to do is to get more congested and then you need the Dristan, and it's a vicious circle and I was in nightmare until here's the cure folks, you get flonase. For three days, if it doesn't work for three days you do the flonase and then it works and you're cured, voila! So there you go! Sorry, I digress.
Kendall: Dristan dependency during pregnancy, don't do it. Even cream, you've got to be careful what you are used to keep your skin moist because you've got to be careful if you have anything with a cortisone in it. I mean all these things, they don't like much sitting in a jar, but they could do damage to a baby.
Nina: Kendall, here look at this, on the same subject.
Kendall: Nivea, Noxzema, something over-the-counter, Keri Lotion.
Nina: Hypoallergenic.
Kendall: Something hypoallergenic.
Nina: Here Dona also says she is getting weird rashes on her knees and legs and it's very painful and itchy and she can't bend her knees.
Kendall: That's like eczema.
Nina: So she has really got to see a doctor, oh my god!
Kendall: That's a shame. That's a shame. That's a shame. Alright, now this is okay, now hold on. Evanne, she's got a heightened gag reflex.
Nina: Oh Lord!
Kendall: According to my dentist I was born with a heightened gag reflex. I mean, I always like the little kit, you know, thing.
Nina: Interesting! She says when she would brush her teeth she would gag, and that was me too; the smell of the toothpaste would make me automatically --
Kendall: Oh! That's just what my children do, just don't brush their teeth.
Nina: See you've rotten teeth and they're falling and what do you care, you've got a gorgeous baby, come on. Don't be so --
Kendall: Right, you'll get new teeth.
Nina: Who cares!
Kendall: Okay!
Nina: Those veneers are amazing, if you ever watch those Extreme Makeover shows, they go in and then they've got these rotten teeth all over with the -- and vampire teeth and they come out the next day with these veneers. It's amazing!
Kendall: So dear, worry about your teeth. Forget the teeth.
Nina: Yes, 2000 bucks you've got to set a teeth.
Kendall: Or you get Au Naturale toothpaste which frankly I find defensive.
Nina: Never heard of that, what is that?
Kendall: Oh it's like baking soda toothpaste. My sister loves it.
Nina: Oh yeah, yeah...
Kendall: I like that freshy when I brush my teeth I like to being minty for at least five minutes, but I hate, it doesn't work, it doesn't work.
Nina: Yeah, but it doesn't last that long, doesn't last that long. Okay, so here, this girl is Sara. She is normally not a sugar-eater but since she has been pregnant she can't get enough sugar. Wow! Sara I can't get enough sugar when I'm pregnant or not pregnant, I just love the sugarcane so --
Kendall: No, no, no, diabetes, no!
Nina: Look at this!
Kendall: Sugarless candies, no!
Nina: She's eaten all of her daughter's Halloween candies. Don't want some more for daughter.
Kendall: I know she is --
Nina: It's not very nice, Sara.
Kendall: Go to the store, get some sugarless candies.
Nina: Yes, sugarless, yes, yes. Splenda by the way is excellent substitute for sugar.
