The Problem Box
Hello folks. I’m Flywheel and I want to talk you about problem solving and I’ve created something called the problem box. Now, you can tell how focused you are and how well you're prioritizing and how well your team is collaborating on solving a problem for the company by how close they think in relation to the problem box.
So if someone once, twice or three times removed that shows you how much understanding they have of the problem you’re facing and you can also use this for yourself. You can say well what are the problems that my business faces. So you can write those problems down and then look at your daily activities for the past month and say well how often was I focusing on fixing those problems or how often was actually just filling up time because you have to let things go. You have to let things grow in order to focus on the things that you’re going to take your business forwards.
You can't do everything so you pick, you write down the problems that your business faces and you focus with them with laser precision and in this can actually be related to computers, computers have something called RAM, it’s called Random Access Memory. All brains have that. It’s called the short term memory and if this is a lose example I’m not a scientist but it’s a way to explain it to you.
So you have so much RAM. Let’s pretend you have four gigabytes, if you spend 3.5 gigabytes and the daily limit illusion on the task that you shouldn’t be focusing on and only in best point five gigabyte and solving the crucial fundamental problems that again you take your business to the next level when you do solve them then you’re only using a small percentage of the capacity that you have to solve them. Whereas when you stop everything else and you use all of y our RAM all four gigabytes of it to solve these fundamental problems one by one, that’s when your business takes off and the sales sky rocketed.
