Gray Ryan Blair: The worst aspect of the why is when someone asks a mature adult, “Why are you doing this? Why is this important? Why are you pursuing this goal?”
The only answer they come up with is, “I do not know” or “just because.” The reason why I say that's the worst is, it's very simple as this is that you need reason, you need justification. You need something that sells yourself on the importance and the significance of this goal.
But no goal will be achieved without risk, without sacrifice without adversity without paying some type of a price. If the only motivation you have is I don't know or just because, I can promise you right now as soon as you run into that first obstacle, you are going to find a way to make an excuse an quit very fast and you want to prevent that from happening.
