The Purpose of Religion Female: Where do you find support? In religion, family, friends, and other professionals? Coach Bob Wright explains the purpose of any source of support is to help yourself become the best person you can be. Wright: The organized religion is an institution. But if you ask anybody what they believe very deeply they know what they believe in. They know what matters to them. You do not need a church to tell them that. However, we all need help only to live what matters most to us. And if we can get help in church, if we can get help with psychologist, if we can get help with a boss at work and a mentor. It is all the same, it is also developing to be in the most full human beings we can be. [Music Playing]
