I would like to play for you now a tune which is coming from Irish traditional music from the piping of one of the most famous and celebrated pied pipers of all time. His name was Shimas Elis, this tune is called the return from Fingal. So we are in that yet and so we can also play in different keys of course and we are not stuck in one key which is G, you can play in A like for this piece, the return from Fingal. What is very interesting about this piece is it kind of drives, the reason it drives is it’s a march. You have to imagine some soldiers, Irish soldiers coming back from the battle which was in Fingal which is a suburb of Dublin today and I think it was a victory so they are coming home very happy and it shows in the music. So when you play this tune you have to get this kind of movement within it right, so lets look at one point before to play together with a split screen, lets look at the bass line.

You see the bass doesn’t have to be always to be the same, you can play around it, and you can play with it and having as a voice happening in the bass always making the tune fresh as for many other tunes. So let’s now use the split screen and let’s play together slowly.
