The Role of Saturn in Mythology
On behalf of tvlesson.com, I am Maya White, an astrologer and intuitive guide with mayawhite.com. Let’s talk a little bit about Saturn.
Saturn in mythology is also thought of as Father Time. He rules restrictions, things that we can't do limitations, places where we’re not allowed to do or rules that we have to fulfill. Actually however, Saturn ends up being very constructive and that he allows you to build as even as the keeper of time. Saturn is the building block to allow us to move into positive growth.
As an image of Father Time, Saturn represents the structure and the building blocks that we will achieve. Note that the planet Saturn actually has rings. This is so representative of Saturn and the restrictions, the things that we have to build upon to achieve what we want.
Saturn is the Father. He's also represents the society’s ego. And again, often what represent rules, things that we have to do, things that we need to do and the path that we take to achieve exactly what we want.
Saturn however, is not the cruel task master that he has been made out to be. Indeed, he’s a teacher, he’s a master, and he’s a father, an authority figure and actually helps us achieve all of our goals.
