I would say in scale 1 to 10, my fitness is probably right now is a seven and a half. Maybe a 7 I do not want to say. It could be eight, but not yet. I would say seven to eight range. I am definitely aware of my body, especially I have been getting older but I am in the weight training. It is a fountain of youth. I am seeing too many stories, too many books on weight training. No matter what book you read—if it is Deepak Chopra, if it is Ophra, if it is Ophra and Deepak, Ophra and Chopra and it is all about weight training.
You got to put it in an hour, six times a week. It could be walking, I do Venice beach. You got to get out, you got to hike, and you have to have your feet feel the earth. Get out there, and soak in the sun. I do not wear sunscreen, no more. I do not wear moisturizer because it makes my skin break out. Your skin is supposed to sweat. Why make it not sweat? Why clog your arteries? That is what I am saying. Arteries, I mean your things, your pores which are arteries to the world.
So I do exercise and I am going to continue to exercise and I am getting my mother to exercise. She is 76 and I say, “Mom, you got to be around 20 more years.” Why not? I read everyday, Willard Scott, somebody turned a hundred. I am only asking till 95. Can you go to 95 Mom? That is not asking too much. Please do that I want you to be here and when you walk, walk briskly. Do not just stroll, push it. That is what I am saying. Elevate the heart rate. You will enjoy it.
