Rebecca Brayton: It's the word that drive people poolside dread the most. Cannonball. Hi! I am Rebecca Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com. And today we are at the National Cannonball competition, to see who has got the best tuck. What's your strategy, what's your technique like do you wear a special outfit or --
Philippe Picard: I am waiting for my friends, to get me my outfit, but if he will don't come I will find another idea.
Rebecca Brayton: Have you ever hurt/heard yourself doing Cannonball?
Philippe Picard: I land on my butt, that's the only thing.
Rebecca Brayton: What's running through your mind when you do the Cannonball, when you jump?
Philippe Picard: Don't fall on my back and they take a little side.
Rebecca Brayton: So why did you enter the Cannonball competition?
Loel Tremblay: Well, this year was actually to defend my title. I am last year's winner. So I am here to defend my title with a bigger, better and crazier.
Rebecca Brayton: How did you win last year?
Loel Tremblay: I did some really crazy stuff. Well, it was actually a three meter board and I think I was the only one who was doing flips and stuff that's why I won.
Rebecca Brayton: So what's your strategy this year for the competition?
Loel Tremblay: Go crazy, no, no I have my suit everything is ready. I have my props, my music so. It's about the water, the bum and it's about the show too.
Rebecca Brayton: Have you ever heard yourself doing Cannonball?
Loel Tremblay: Actually yes. On my first time, I got a like the swimmer of the year.
Rebecca Brayton: Was it worth it?
Loel Tremblay: Oh! Of course.
Rebecca Brayton: Do you ever judged a Cannonball competition before?
Kimberley Sullivian: I was the judge last year. So I had so much fun, I decided to come back this year. It's going to be a special event. A lot of people in the stand so it's going to be pretty good?
Rebecca Brayton: How is a Cannonball competition judge?
Kimberley Sullivian: You have to make sure that you have personality before jumping. You have to have a high jump, a big splash. So a lot to counts, like the less artistic you can be, the better.
Rebecca Brayton: What's the craziest thing you have ever seen done?
Kimberley Sullivian: There was a gigolo last year, so he almost got naked was in a G-string. So that was pretty interesting and then he came out of the pool. So he got a perfect 10.
Rebecca Brayton: So this year what can we expect?
Kimberley Sullivian: Hopefully bigger splashes, funnier events. We'll see. I am sure Cannonballs will be great.
