David McFaul: Welcome to watchmojo.com, I'm David McFaul. Today, dive into the fascinating world of science technology and innovation. I'm here with the super mileage car right now. This car is designed to get the most fuel efficiency possible to competition between different universities from actually around the world.
David McFaul: What kind of materials you have it here? It looks like high-tech stuff.
Male Speaker: The body is made out of carbon fiber. The frame is made out of Aluminium that was also made by us. All the calculations all we designed it. Fabrication was made by students from our team.
David McFaul: And how fast can this car go?
Male Speaker: Its top speed when we did previous test is, its about 60 kilo meters per hour; all depending on the gears we put on. During the competition, we are forced to keep an average speed of about 25 kilo meters per hour. Nothing it really exciting at happening only tech cars passing by all going it to about a same speed. It's not like F1 racing.
David McFaul: Is it legal to put 12-year-old girl in here because I don't see how any human being who can get in there?
Male Speaker: Well that's actually pretty roomy. Actually it would be illegal for a 12-year-old girl to sit in there because we are forced to have students from our team from the University to drive the car. Unfortunately, we only have guys with beer belly for its weights about 150 to 160 pounds.
David McFaul: Wait a second. Are you saying you have a bear belly?
Male Speaker: Not my self. I'm too tall for the car. My shoulders are too wide. I drive it actually is a 150 pounds, doesn't seem much, but for our car the whole car is a 100 pounds.
David McFaul: So, small as it could be it seems like it would be kind of uncomfortable. How long does he have to sit this car for?
Male Speaker: It runs for about 40 minutes. It's pretty comfortable, it's really hot, but he has to keep a water bottle in there to just so he doesn't fade out.
David McFaul: Okay. Well, thank you very much. I appreciate your time.
Male Speaker: Well, thank you.
