Maradona redeemed himself in the 1986 World Cup with the famous Hand of God goal, where Argentina won the world cup beating Germany in the final 3-2. Maradona also led Argentina to world final in 1990 where they lost of appeared with due to his penalty towards Germany in the final 1-0.
He played also in the 1994 World Cup playing two games before receiving well what is know as drug ban. Maradona primarily played for three clubs in his career, Boca Juniors the team of his heart, FC Barcelona the team which showed in Europe and Napoli in Italy the team that he brought from hashish to glory, rounding ultimate fielders and on the bench we can have in Zidane.
Zidane has won the European Championship once Euro 2000. The World Cup once 1998, and finished runner up in 2006. Given another decade and you might see people like Zidane on that all time kings as that started.
