Hi! This is Francisco Bujan from vitalcoaching.com and we are talking about tantric essence. The next question I would like to answer is: What is the goal of tantric sex?
When we talk about Tantra, we can take two approaches. One, is really what is happening in India. What is happening in Hinduism? What is happening around the temples and what is happening with all the devotion, the gods, and the tradition which is established in India and also around the world. But really, which is really oriented towards a spiritual direction and a spiritual development.
Now, if we take a more western approach and really focus on the idea of tantric sex and on the idea of sacred sexuality. Then, we would enter an area which is much more sexual oriented and deals really with sexual energy. And when we want to answer this question, we have to see sexual activity within the western world and within the western context.
Sex is a very double thing in the west. At the same time, everybody is kind of craving to have a fulfill sexual life and at the same time, there is this kind of taboo or guilt or you know, unhealthy kind of mind sets surrounding the whole sexual issue.
The goal of the tantric sex within these western context within, what we can call Neotantra, is really to master sexual energy. To be able use that energy in a way which is really constructive rather than in a way which is simply a pain for the body, for the mind and simply a flow of energy which is totally uncontrolled and unhealthy.
So, what is the goal with tantric sex?
It is a way to be able to master these source of energy inside your body, inside your being and to apply it either within a relationship or within day to day life. Sexual energies are very powerful source of energy. In itself, it can be directed to actually reproduction to having children but it can be also be directed within the body in a very healthy way.
Simply to enhance your level of joy, happiness, and pleasure in life in general and you can express that within interaction, within sexual exchange with the partner. But you can also express that in the daily life in the way you live your life. So this is the goal of tantric sex.
Ultimately, it is to be able to master this energy and rather than have something which happens in your body and in your mind without you really understanding it and not knowing how, what to do with it.
You really develop abilities and skills which are going to give you a form of mastery over this sexual energy and part of it has to do with sexual performance but this is not so much the direction we are talking about. It has more to do with simply being able to use this energy in a constructive way.
For instance, there is a tremendous addiction to porn and to this kind of sexual behaviors within the western world. If you look at the male behavior in society in general. There is a tremendous addiction to this kind of, you know, sexual approach which is really porn or point the directions and most of the guys, who are actually go in that direction or in that kind of expression of there sexual life are not actually satisfied.
They do not actually come to a point where they feel okay. I am doing something here which is really fulfilling for me. Its more like a release of energy that they can not really control or resist this kind of sexual addiction but at the same time.
It does not seem to take these guys anywhere, and maybe you have been yourself. You know, in a situation where you feel that the way, your sexual life was being express. It was not really harmonious.
Maybe you felt that in the past, you feel that your sexual expression had some area of darkness in it that you could not really control or you did not know how to use or what to do with it. So, what we can do with tantric sex is simply give.
