The iPhone 3GS Battery indicator
What’s up guys and girls? I want to show you a really cool, very simple feature of the iPhone 3GS.
It’s not a camera, it’s not a compass, it actually is just a number in the upper right hand corner right there. It tells you what your battery power’s left.
The typical battery power icon that the previous iPhone it have had, it’s not that accurate. It’s hard to kind of estimate how much battery you have left. You know when it’s going to go red or how much green you have left.
This just makes it much easier. To do it, you turn it on. Apple hit it a little bit. You have to go settings and you have to hit General and you have to hit Usage. And when you’re in usage, you can toggle the battery percentage on or off. And that’s really it.
It is nice and easy. If you want to get this on a 3G or first Generation, you're going to have to do a little bit of hacking but it’s nice and simple to do on the 3GS.
